2022 Brings Changes to Vinnie's

We did it. Collectively we’ve made it through an incredibly difficult year. Though we have all faced different challenges in 2021, we have all persevered and now we have the opportunity for a fresh start. Vinnie’s will be welcoming the new year in with some exciting changes!

We’ve made the decision to temporarily close our doors while we let our creativity take flight. Vinnie’s plans to reopen in February and we can’t wait to see you again. You can expect to see a new cocktail menu along with an expanded food menu. Stay tuned for more details!

For wine club members, here’s what January’s box has in store for you!

DAMP JANUARY
Yes, the theme refers to the weather, but also to the fact that many people do “dry January.” So in this case it’s “dry January but also some wine,” or “damp January” to be concise. These wines are all light and, well, dry.

Escala Humana ‘Livvera’ Malvasia, Uco Valley, Argentina 2020
This white wine is slightly hazy and highly aromatic. Mint, herbs, lemongrass, yogurt, chewy green sticks, melon, squash, kumquat.

Agricola Marino 'Turi’ Catarratto 2019, Sicily, Italy
We chose this light orange wine because it’s not aggressively weird - just a little weird. It tastes of yellow apple, citrus rind, white flowers, and bay leaf. If you like seafood, this is your wine to pair with it.

Itxas Harri 'Roxa' Rose 2019, Navarra, Spain
Smells like summer. Tastes like summer too. Peaches and strawberries and saline (the name means seashell, and it shows.) It’s a welcome breath of summer in the middle of winter.

Gaspard Pinot Noir 2020, Touraine, Loire Valley, France
Loire Valley Pinot Noir isn’t as well-known as its counterpart in Burgundy, but it’s the wine you didn’t know you need right now. This has got some deliciously lush fruits but it’s bright, clean, fresh, and easy-drinking.

PICKING UP JANUARY’S BOX:

Vinnie’s & Navy Strength will not be staffed after December 31st. With the snow and holiday closures, we would like to set up individual pick up times for January’s box. Please email rylee@canoeventures.group before January 1st to coordinate a pick up time.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
